Richard Munzinger, David Hassler and Stuart Schwartz, shareholder attorneys with the ScottHulse law firm, were selected as “2011 Texas Super Lawyers” by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazines. Five percent of Texas Attorneys are given this honor. Super Lawyers are chosen by their peers.
Munzinger practices in ScottHulse’s antitrust, commercial litigation, health care/hospitals and media and mass communication sections. He is a member of the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee, and serves on the Pattern Jury Charge Committee (Business, Commercial). Hassler practices in the firm’s estate planning, probate and trust law groups. Hassler is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Schwartz practices in the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Creditors’ Rights, and International Law sections. He is one of five attorneys in the State of Texas board certified in Creditors’ Rights Law by the American Board of Certification.

Stuart R. Schwartz, a shareholder at the ScottHulse law firm, was a featured speaker at the “Mastering the Art of Collecting Debts and Judgments” course in Austin, Texas. Mr. Schwartz spoke on “Pre-Suit Investigation.” The course was presented by the University of Texas School of Law.

Ricardo Vielledent Speaks to TASPA

Glenn R. Campion Joins ScottHulse Tax

ScottHulse law firm hired Glenn Campion as an associate tax attorney. Campion earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at Brooklyn Law School in 2004 and his L.L.M. in Taxation at New York University in 2009. After practicing law in New York for five years, he returned to Texas to join ScottHulse.
Mr. Campion’s practice encompasses all areas of Federal Income Taxation, including planning for individuals and businesses and the formation and reorganization of entities. Mr. Campion also assists non-profit organizations to establish their corporate structure and to address tax-related and governance issues. Mr. Campion is currently a member of the Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Ms. Snook is a 2007 graduate of the University of Houston School of Law. During school she interned with the Ethics Service at the M.D. Anderson Medical Cancer Center. Prior to law school, Ms. Snook was a paralegal at a Houston employment law firm.

Business and community leaders, local attorneys, judges, friends, neighbors and clients joined ScottHulse, presenting sponsor of Monet to Matisse: French Masterworks, for a private showing of the largest exhibition of world-class French Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings to ever visit El Paso.
More than 21,000 El Paso Museum of Art visitors viewed the exhibition during its three-month run, setting a new attendance record for the museum.

at State Bar of New Mexico Course

Glenn Davis, a shareholder practicing in the estate planning, probate and trust law group of the ScottHulse law firm, recently spoke at the State Bar of New Mexico “Tax Considerations in Estate Planning Course” in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Davis spoke on the Federal Estate Tax. The course provided continuing legal education to NM licensed attorneys throughout the state.
Mr. Davis represents individuals and institutional clients in a variety of wealth transfer, asset protection, and taxation matters in both Texas and New Mexico. Mr. Davis is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Casey S. Stevenson, Diana M. Valdez, and Oscar Javier Ornelas, attorneys with the ScottHulse law firm, were selected as “2011 Texas Rising Stars” by the Texas Super Lawyers and publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazines.
