Jury Trial Victory in Traumatic Brain Injury Case

EL PASO, TX – Oscar M. Gonzalez v. Inman Trucking, Inc. and James Perry Lassiter, Cause No. 3:16-CV-00006-PRM, In the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas- El Paso DivisionScottHulse represented Inman Trucking, Inc. in a negligence case, which resulted in a victory on Inman Trucking’s behalf after a 4-day trial in El Paso federal court. The case involved an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer owned by Inman Trucking. Inman Trucking presented evidence that the accident was not the fault of Inman Trucking’s driver and that the traumatic brain injury claimed by Plaintiff was too attenuated to be caused by the accident. A seven-person jury returned a unanimous verdict in Inman Trucking’s favor.
