Bonnie Hungerford received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso. Ms. Hungerford then attended the University of Minnesota Law School, where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law. During Law School, Ms. Hungerford was honored with the Best Oralist Award for her performance in the First-Year Legal Research and Writing Program, and she was selected to participate in the Wagner Labor and Employment Law Moot Court. Ms. Hungerford earned her way onto the Moot Court competition team and was subsequently selected to coach the team. Ms. Hungerford was also the Head Student Ambassador for student recruiting at the Law School, focusing her recruitment efforts on the El Paso/Las Cruces Region.
Ms. Hungerford also received her Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the esteemed Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. As a Masters student, Ms. Hungerford worked for a Fortune 1000 corporation in the area of executive compensation and benefits.
Ms. Hungerford was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2009. She is a member of the El Paso Bar Association, El Paso Women’s Bar Association, El Paso Young Lawyers Association, and the El Paso Mexican American Bar Association. In the human resources field, Ms. Hungerford is a member of both the national and El Paso chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management. Ms. Hungerford is also a graduate of the UTEP Law School Preparation Institute.
