Jorge Leal is an Associate in the firm's Business Section. His primary practice areas include Corporate Law, Banking & Financial Services, and Real Estate. Jorge Leal attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Government in 2006. Mr. Leal received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2009. During law school at Texas Tech University School of Law, he participated in the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Fraternity, the Civil Practice Clinic, the Hispanic Law Student's Association and the Business and Bankruptcy Law Student Association. He was also an Articles Editor for the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal and was a Teaching Fellow in the Texas Tech University School of Law Legal Practice Program. He received Jurisprudence Awards in Legal Practice I and Criminal Law and was a scholarship recipient of the Judge John C. Akard Scholarship, the Alvin R. Allison Endowed Scholarship, the Helen Hodges Scholarship, the R. Guy and Phyllis Carter Scholarship, the Elvia Alvarado Scholarship, and the El Paso Bar Auxiliary Scholarship.
Mr. Leal was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2009. He is a member of the El Paso Bar Association and El Paso Young Lawyers Association.
