Luis F. Calvo is a native El Pasoan and an associate attorney whose practice focuses on commercial and business dispute litigation, trials and arbitration.
Prior to joining ScottHulse, Mr. Calvo practiced in New York City where he represented global financial institutions and corporations in investment disputes, regulatory and enforcement actions, and high stakes breach of contract and employment claims in federal and state courts and arbitral forums.
Before moving to New York, Mr. Calvo began his career at a law firm in Mexico City where he represented Fortune 100 companies in government contracts and antitrust matters.
Mr. Calvo earned a J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the Journal of Corporate and Financial Law and was a member of Fordham’s Moot Court team. Mr. Calvo received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award for his work in Fordham’s Securities Arbitration Clinic and Legal Outreach. Mr. Calvo also received a Master of Laws in International Business & Trade Law from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico.
