Ms. Snook's primary practice area is estate planning and probate, in both Texas and New Mexico. She learned the importance of advance healthcare directives and medical powers of attorney while interning with the Ethics Service at the world-renowned M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, during law school at the University of Houston.

While in law school, Ms. Snook also interned with the First Court of Appeals of Texas and the Harris County Mental Health/Mental Retardation Authority, and served as an attorney ad litem through the Juvenile Law Clinic. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a paralegal at a Houston employment law firm.

Ms. Snook serves on the board of the El Paso Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the El Paso Probate Bar, the El Paso Women's Bar Assoc., and the Southern New Mexico Estate Planning Council.

Ms. Snook plays the oboe and has been a member of the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra and the El Paso Wind Symphony. She is married to Dave Snook, a member of the El Paso education community. Their daughter, Sadie, was born in 2007.
