Priscilla Marquez, a litigation and labor & employment attorney and shareholder with the ScottHulse law firm, has been elected to serve as the President of the El Paso Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. The El Paso Chapter’s primary purpose is to serve the federal judiciary and federal bar by advocating for the sound administration of justice in the federal courts. It is a very active chapter with members in all areas of public and private practice, including law firms, non-profit organizations, government agencies, military branches, and local courts. Among its many activities and efforts, the El Paso Chapter awards a yearly scholarship to an El Pasoan beginning law school, conducts a one-day summer introduction to federal practice for new and future lawyers, coordinates bench and bar events, provides a Federal Court Practice Seminar for attorneys seeking admission to the Western District, sponsors social networking events, provides monthly CLE programs, and offers community service opportunities. Ms. Marquez is licensed in both the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of New York.
