EL PASO, TX – ScottHulse is pleased to announce that Javier Macias has joined the law firm’s El Paso office, focusing on labor and employment law, education law, and litigation. Javier earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
While attending law school, Javier served as a law clerk for the Texas Civil Rights Project in El Paso, Texas, primarily in the areas of ADA and immigration-related claims. He also served as a legal intern at El Paso County Court at Law 4 for Judge Alex Gonzalez.
Prior to pursuing his legal career, Javier was a Mathematics teacher at Fort Hancock High School in Fort Hancock, Texas. He is a graduate of Cathedral High School in El Paso, Texas.
