Stuart Schwartz has dedicated his practice to business litigation and creditors’ rights since joining ScottHulse immediately after graduation. He represents lenders, factors, landlords, and businesses in a wide range of matters, including debt collection, judgment domestication, and complex business disputes. Known for his determined advocacy, Mr. Schwartz strives to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients. A fourth-generation El Pasoan, he is deeply committed to his community, having served as County Commissioner and in leadership roles such as Past President of the city’s food bank, Past President of his synagogue, Vice Chair of the El Paso International Airport Board, and selected by the Mayor to chair the City’s Ethics Review Committee.

Made nearly 50 presentations and speeches to other Texas attorneys at continuing legal education courses for the State Bar of Texas at the University of Texas and the University of Houston
Former editor of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Collection Manual for over 25 years, and served as its Chairman for several years. The three volume manual is the go-to compendium of Texas substantive and procedural law and creditor’s rights litigation.
