Labor & Employment Attorney

Both El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico

ScottHulse PC is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with at least five years of relevant experience to join our dynamic and growing practice. About the Role: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: trial advocacy skills and experience in legal research, case analysis, and client counseling, preventive advice and training, alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, compliance and regulatory matters, litigation, organized labor issues, changes in ownership and reductions in workforce, to name a few.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation law experience
  • Texas Bar or New Mexico Bar license required
  • Strong trial advocacy skills and proven experience in legal research, case analysis, and drafting complex pleadings and memoranda
  • Excellent communication and client counseling skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills and ties to the Borderplex region are desirable
  • A portable book of business is preferred but not required
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment
