Transactional Attorney
Both El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico
ScottHulse, P.C. is seeking an experienced Transactional Attorney with at least five years of relevant experience to join our dynamic and growing practice. About the Role:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more of the following areas:
- Structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions
- Advising business owners throughout the business lifecycle — from formation to daily operations and exit strategies
- Handling complex real estate transactions, including REITs and developer representations
- Providing strategic counsel on a broad range of corporate, securities, and commercial matters
Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus: healthcare, real estate, construction, insurance, banking and financial services, manufacturing and maquiladoras (cross-border operations), aerospace/defense/government contracting, transportation, and education.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of transactional law experience
- Texas Bar or New Mexico Bar license required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills and ties to the Borderplex region are desirable
- A portable book of business is preferred but not required
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment
