Stephen Venzor is an associate attorney at ScottHulse whose practice focuses on general commercial litigation.
Mr. Venzor earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was elected to the Board of Barristers and served as an officer for the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. While in law school, Mr. Venzor was a brief writer on two national moot court teams and was recognized as regional champion in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
Prior to joining ScottHulse, Mr. Venzor was a judicial intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert F. Castaneda at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Raised in El Paso, Mr. Venzor attended Franklin High School. After high school, he remained in El Paso to complete his Associate in Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts, after which he moved to Costa Rica to apprentice with a world-renowned Michelin-starred chef. Mr. Venzor later returned to El Paso and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from New Mexico State University.
