Mr. Schwartz, who practices in the ScottHulse Commercial Litigation and Creditors’ Rights Law practice groups, spoke on the topic “Expanding Defendants.”  Mr. Stevenson presented on “Post-Judgment Discovery.”

“This annual two-day conference covers a wide range of commercial litigation and creditors’ rights topics as well as strategic tools that can be utilized to pursue creditor claims,” said Mr. Schwartz, who was also a member of the Course Planning Committee.  “A creditor may have a valid claim, but the ability to pursue the claim and collect the amount owed is quite more often than not a challenge faced by the creditor’s attorneys.”

Mr. Schwartz is one of only three Texas attorneys who are board certified in Creditor’s Rights law by the American Board of Certification. Mr. Stevenson is licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico. He represents both national and international creditors in a variety of commercial litigation and collections matters.
