EL PASO, TX – ScottHulse shareholder and attorney, David Hassler, recently attended the 24th Annual Estate Planning and Probate Drafting Course, hosted by the State Bar of Texas. The continuing legal education course was held in Houston, Texas on October 24-25, 2013.
As head of the ScottHulse estate planning and asset protection practice group, Mr. Hassler advises high and mid net worth individuals and families regarding estate planning, transfer taxation, asset protection and closely held and family business matters, including charitable, deferred and leveraged giving.
Mr. Hassler is a member of Taxation, Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law, and Corporation, Banking and Business Law Sections of the State Bar of Texas, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He serves on the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Development Board, and has been the Course Director for the annual UTEP Estate Planning Conference for Women for 22 years.
