EL PASO, TX – Henry J. Paoli, a Shareholder at the ScottHulse law firm, has accepted an invitation to join the State Bar of Texas Appellate Law Section’s Pro Bono Committee. The Pro Bono Committee’s goal is to match clients who cannot afford legal representation with volunteer Texas lawyers who agree to serve without expectation of compensation. In the Pro Bono program, qualified clients obtain appellate counsel to help them navigate the often complicated appeals process. The program is designed to give persons who have appeals that are pending in the appellate courts of Texas an opportunity to have legal representation that they might not otherwise have available.
Mr. Paoli practices in the areas of litigation, appeals, and construction law. He has experience in handling various types of commercial lawsuits, including breach of contract claims, construction claims, and disputes between business entities. He regularly advises construction companies, contractors, and real estate professionals. Mr. Paoli received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law. His experience in the area of appeals includes the representation of clients in numerous appellate courts, including the Eighth District Court of Appeals in El Paso, the Supreme Court of Texas in Austin, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eighth Circuits
