Litigation associates work directly with the chair of the practice group and other shareholders. The associate who is hired for this position will be challenged and rewarded by an accelerated learning track with immediate hands-on client contact. Successful candidates should have litigation experience with legal research, analysis, and drafting of complex memoranda as well as motions and briefs. Ideal candidates should also have strong litigation skills, including some trial and pre-trial experience, as well as experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and counseling clients on matters related to litigation.

Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Texas licensure is required. New Mexico licensure is a plus.
